Baltimore Baptist Church started as a small church plant in 2022 already trusting that God would provide them with a permanent meeting place. Their sending church, First Baptist Church of Kingstowne, VA, helped financially support them at first, but Pastor Morales always had the goal of becoming self-sufficient financially. With the support of the sending church and ministry partners like Church Investors Fund, their vision became a reality! February 2nd, 2025, Baltimore Baptist Church was able to meet in the newly purchased building.

“We are soooo humbled by the grace and provision of God for our little church plant. All the love, gratitude, and excitement that we experienced in our service this past Sunday was overwhelming. We all thoroughly enjoyed giving the Lord thanks and praise for allowing us to be able to accomplish this mountaintop moment. We went from an average of 25 in attendance the first two years to averaging 30 the last six months. The first service in our building, we had an attendance of 51. The second Sunday in our building, we had an attendance of 53. What a difference having a building makes! I am so grateful to have been able to connect with such wonderful Christian folks that have a heart to help churches and advance the Kingdom of God. We count it an honor and privilege that you have partnered with us. Thank you again for your help and support. Can’t thank you all enough for what you’ve done to help us. Praise the Lord!” – Pastor Morales

This was no easy feat. It took prayer, faith and a lot of teamwork. Initially, Church Investors Fund was working with Pastor Matthew from Central Baptist Church. Not all real estate transactions go through, and it’s always better to err on the side of caution. Navigating budgeting, commercial real estate due diligence and negotiating prices, is never an easy feat for anyone. Pastor Matthew’s church ended up not moving forward with their project, but he enjoyed working with Alica Stevans (Loans Manager) and Igor so much that he referred Church Investors Fund to his friend and fellow pastor who was looking for someone who would be willing to partner with a church in an unusual situation. Pastor Morales worked diligently to make the purchase a success. The sending church, First Baptist Church of Kingstowne, VA agreed to be a guarantor. A church planting foundation helped with a grant.  And, most importantly, it couldn’t have happened without our ministry partners who invested with Church Investors Fund. God used literally hundreds of people, each doing their part, to set the church in its new home so it can proclaim the Gospel to many, many more.

Thank you faithful investors for helping us partner with Baltimore Baptist Church! Per the Church’s mission statement, their aim is to motivate everyone to love the Lord, love their local communities and love the lost. Ultimately, this is what we are all here to do!

In His Service,
