Investments at Work in Roseville, CA!

Pleasant Grove Community Church is officially debt-free! This is a significant milestone as this was the original loan that built the current church facilities. Church Investors Fund was partnered with Pleasant Grove Community church from the very beginning with a line of credit to purchase additional land, which turned into a construction loan to build the church, and then a term-out to refinance the construction loan into a mortgage. That mortgage was paid off in the summer of 2025.

The church was started in 1996 as a church plant. It was perfectly situated in the rapidly expanding city of Roseville in Northern California.  Though it was located in a planned adult community, the church was able share the gospel and attract and win new believers. They started holding services in August of 1996 and within two years their attendance reached over 270! Previous Church Investors Fund President, Bob Mayforth, visited the church in September of 1998 when there was no building and the congregation was still fund raising to buy land.

The city is continuing to expand, and Pleasant Grove Community Church is finding new ways to serve the community. New developments have brought a lot of people to the area. The church continues to serve the neighboring retirement community. A growing young church with many young families holds a second service at the church now. This summer, VBS, hosted over 100 kids! Some of the founding members have passed on, but the younger families are doing their part in continuing the legacy, repairing the building, upgrading systems, and stepping up. The Wednesday afternoon that I visited was lively, full of activity for a weekday afternoon – truly a church for the community!

This wouldn’t be possible without people who invest with purpose, invest in their values, and with their resources help build the Church! Thank you for your support, dedication and prayers!
